Deus non vult. is a story-driven progressive game created with the Bitsy Game Maker (v.7.12), largely adhering to the dramatic structure of Aristotelian tragedy. It was developed as part of the Storytelling module in the second semester.

It transports players to a world resembling the European High Middle Ages around 1200 AD, referencing the Saxon Wars of the 9th century AD.
The game follows Knight Daniel, leader of the royal bodyguard, burdened by guilt due to past deaths and seeking redemption through a righteous path. As the Saxons attack the castle, Daniel's past, hatred for the Saxons, and self-doubts are revealed. Failing to save the queen, he must protect the princess, uncovering his friend Gerold's secret Saxon identity and vengeful motives.
